When the Ceiling Meets the Floor

by Yvonne Sotomayor

Puked up love
Black as crow and yet
The slithery smoothness
Tongue take-over
Hungry wretched lover
Sweat and stench
All encompassing
Swarmed into a fold
Up your throat
Thrusting fist within
Release the fire
Arms outstretched
Falling through
The wicked edge
Designed by vein’s ripple
Firmly choke the skin
Within the hollowness
Drain the life
Drain the dead
Drain it all
Heaving breath
Squeezed out the vital
Imprint of you
